Galina Tretyakova, Chair of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Social Policy and the Protection of Veterans’ Rights, contacted the Federation of Transport Trade Unions of Ukraine to inquire about the Federation’s position on the draft Labor Code (Reg. No. 14386).
In response, our Federation reiterated your comments and suggestions, which were submitted to the Verkhovna Rada in January 2026, and emphasized that they remain relevant. According to the FPTU, the document requires further refinement, since its stated goals will not be achieved without taking the trade unions’ proposals into account.
The Federation also confirmed its readiness to participate in the further refinement of the draft Labor Code as part of the relevant working groups.
