Federation of Transport Trade Unions of Ukraine participated in the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 (URC 2026)
During the conference, which took place in Gdańsk, Poland, on June 25–26, 2026, FTTU General Secretary of the Federation Oleksandr SHUBIN participated in plenary sessions and working sessions on labor and social development, infrastructure development, reconstruction, and physical protection, European integration, and other topics.
On June 24, the day before the conference, the FTTU took part in the Civil Society Forum, where it helped draft a joint declaration.
At the invitation of international partners during Panel 2, “The Human Dimension of Recovery,” at the side conference organized with the support of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, Oleksandr SHUBIN presented an overview of the war’s impact on the transportation sector, particularly on wage levels and working conditions in the railway, aviation, and maritime sectors, among others.
